DESCRIPTION
Birch is a premium hardwood that is known for its easy lighting, bright flames and excellent heat output. It catches fire quickly and produces a strong, consistent warmth, making it ideal for log burners, stoves, open fires and even outdoor firepits or pizza ovens. Birch also burns cleanly with very little smoke when properly dried, while its distinctive papery bark makes it particularly easy to ignite.
While Birch is one of the quickest hardwoods to light, it burns faster than denser hardwoods such as Beech and Oak. However, its ability to produce an impressive flame and almost instant warmth makes it a popular choice for those looking for a convenient, reliable and efficient firewood.
With its combination of quick ignition, bright flames and excellent heat output, Birch is the ideal choice if you want a fire that is easy to start and provides warmth quickly. It is perfect for everyday use, whether enjoyed on its own or combined with longer-burning hardwoods.
Our Barrow Bags of Birch are great value, delivered in 4 x 270-litre narrow-access bags (approx. 200kg each) on a standard pallet. Bags can be easily moved with a domestic sack barrow, making storage and handling simple
