RHI & BSL
RHI
The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is a government scheme launched in 2009 to encourage domestic and commercial heat users to switch to renewables from fossil fuels. To date the scheme has been a huge success. It’s still not too late to get involved and receive RHI payments. The tariffs available are constantly changing so please check the RHI website directly for further information:

Biomass Suppliers List
From 5th October 2015 all biomass fuel used by households, businesses and other organisations claiming the RHI must meet a lifecycle greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions target of 60 per cent GHG savings against the EU fossil fuel average, and land criteria, which for woodfuel are set out in the UK Timber Standard for Heat and Electricity. For domestic users, this means purchasing from suppliers on the Biomass Suppliers List. For non-domestic users they can either buy from the list or self-report.
Harpers and all of our associated products are registered on the Biomass Suppliers List, so you can purchase pellets or woodchips from us and be assured that you comply with your RHI requirements.
BSL numbers are detailed on all paperwork, but we have several depending on which depot your product came from so please check every delivery.
