Production Operator Job Description

Contract: Permanent (3 month trial as standard)

Hours: 12 hour shift work - Night shift and day shift available

Pay: From £30,000 per annum

 

Main duties:

Main duties will be based around the operation of our sawdust drying line and the wood pelleting line. You will be in charge of making sure production goes smoothly.

Experience preferred:

Experience in driving a forklift and telehandler (or similar) is required.

 

Job Background:

The job will be based at our busy pellet production plant at Boyndie, Banff. Applicant, if successful, will be in responsible for operating our production lines and keeping everything running smoothly. We are looking for someone who can work well under pressure, who’s eager to learn and works well as part of a team as well as on their own. Experience in workshops/production plants would be good but not essential as all training will be given.
