Labourer Vacancy
Location: Puffin Pellets- Boyndie
Contract: Permanent (3-month trial as standard)
Hours: Monday – Friday 7.30am – 5.30pm (nightshift is 48hours a week/ dayshift is 60 hours)
Pay: Wage depending on experience and will be discussed at interview stage
Duties: Main duties will be based around the general maintenance of our wood pelleting factory. General Cleaning and maintenance around factory, packaging & dispatch of wood products.
Experience preferred: Experience in driving a forklift/ telehandler/ tractor is helpful but not a requirement.
Job Background: The job will be based at our busy pellet production plant at Boyndie, Banff. We are looking for someone who can work well under pressure, who’s eager to learn and works well as part of a team as well as on their own. Experience in workshops/production plants would be good but not essential as all training will be given.

Production Operator Job Description
Location: Puffin Pellets- Boyndie

Hours: Monday – Friday 5.30am - 5.30pm
Pay: £28,400 - £31,200 per annum
Main duties: Main duties will be based around the operation of our sawdust drying line and the wood pelleting line. You will be in charge of making sure production goes smoothly.
Experience preferred: Experience in driving a forklift and telehandler (or similar) is required.
Job Background: The job will be based at our busy pellet production plant at Boyndie, Banff. Applicant, if successful, will be in charge of operating our production lines and keeping everything running smoothly. Biomass Engineer
Location: Insch

Hours: Monday – Friday 7.30am – 5.30pm (hours can be negotiated)
Pay: £26,000 - £34,000 per annum. Wage depending on experience and will be discussed at interview stage
Duties: Main duties will be based around the maintenance wood pelleting factory. You will be part of the team responsible for the manufacture, assembly & maintenance of new and old equipment.
Experience preferred: Experience in plumbing, heating, biomass or mechanical engineering required.
Job Background: The job will be based at our Combined Heat and Power plant at Insch. The engineer will be responsible for running and maintaining the CHP plant aswell as various biomass boilers which vary in size from 25kW to 3MW.
